Nattu Kozhi Kuzhambu
Nattu Kozhi Kuzhambu is very delicious. chettinad is famous for non veg food preparation especially in nattu koli kulambu preparation. You might have tried many varieties of non vegetarian food recipes but the recipes prepared with chicken Nattu Kozhi are excellent in taste. I like the taste of Nattu Kozhi fry and Nattu Kozhi masala gravy. Here I have given the preparation method of Nattu Kozhi Kuzhambu in gramathu style.
Nattu Kozhi Kuzhambu Recipe Ingredients
Nattu Kozhi curry (chicken) 1/2kg
Chopped onion 2
Chopped tomatoes 2
Green chillies 2
Red chillies 2
Garlic poondu 8
Cumin seeds 2tsp
Poppy seeds 1tsp
Pepper powder 1 tsp
Aniseed (Sombu) 1tsp
Brinji leaves 1
Turmeric powder a pinch
Chilli powder (sambar powder) 2tsp
Coriander powder 1tsp
Coconut grated 1cup
Curry leaves as required
Oil as required
Salt as per taste
How to prepare Chettinad Nattu Kozhi Kulambu
·Make a paste of ginger and garlic. Clean and cut Nattu Kozhi curry.
·Add pepper powder, jeera powder, turmeric powder and chilli powder.
·Mix well and add lemon juice. Keep it aside this Nattu Kozhi masala mixed.
·Grind the grated coconut by adding Poppy seeds, Aniseed, cumin seeds, green chillies and pepper.
·Take a gravy preparing vessel, pour some oil and put Brinji leaves, curry leaves, Cinnamon and ginger garlic paste.
·Mix well and add the onion let it to become golden colour. Then add the chopped tomatoes.
·Then add the masala chicken fry well without adding water for some time in low flame.
·When the chicken is cooked three fourth, add the ground Nattu Kozhi Kuzhambu masala.
·Mix well and add salt as per your taste. Close the lid and serve with rice or chapatti.
